Chatgpt Chinese Rival Deepsek to be hosted on Indian servers, Government Gives Information

Chinese Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform Deepsek will be hosting on Indian servers, which has become increasingly popular in the last few weeks. Information and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that this will eliminate the fears of privacy regarding data transfer abroad.

He said that India AI mission has crossed the initial target of GPU. About 18,693 GPUs are available for researchers, businesses and startups in the country. This will be important resources for various AI projects.

2,000 GPU and 25,000 GPU have been used to train AI models like Chatgpt and Deepsek respectively. Earlier this week, US President Donald Trump said that the rapid growing popularity of the app Deepsek of China’s AI is surprising. He said that American companies developing AI need to focus on competition to overtake. Deepsek has reported that its artificial intelligence models are similar to Chatgpt and Google’s Gemini but its cost is very low.

Trump described Deepsek as positive development as it is cheaper. He had said, “For the last few days I have been reading information related to some Chinese companies. One of them has especially introduced a sharp way of AI and it is very low. It is good because you do not spend too much I will see it as an asset positive development. ” Trump said, “I really feel that if it is true and it is a positive development. You will not have to spend much and you will get the same result.” He has advised American tech companies to be vigilant.
