Notifications for this were issued in October 2024. The UP government has included 80 villages to settle New Noida in an area of 209 square kilometers in Gautam Budh Nagar district. Some part of New Noida will also be held in Bulandshahr. According to Lokesh M., CEO of Noida Authority, a warning boards are being installed in the villages included in the notifications. Wherever illegal constructions have been done in these villages, bulldozers will be run on them. The CEO said that illegal construction will be identified on the basis of satellite map and all the new homes and houses will be broken, they will be broken as illegal construction.
Land will be taken only with the consent of farmers
Lokesh M. said that land will be taken with the consent of farmers in the notified areas. Prices are being fixed for land right now. Once the price is fixed, it will be discussed in the board meeting and after getting the approval of the board, the work will be carried forward. Let us tell you that the work of settling New Noida will be completed in 4 different stages. The entire city is to settle under the first phase, 2032 under the second phase, 2037 under the third phase and the entire city by 2041 under the fourth phase. The first phase includes acquisition of land of 15 villages. According to the report, there are about 200 farmer families in each village. There will be a meeting with all the farmers for land acquisition.
